SOME QUESTIONS ANSWERED

HOW LONG WILL THE MASSAGE SESSIONS LAST?

If its a first appointment, I like to see your horse move in all gaits & ridden if possible. Your horses history, movement and conformation will be noted before any hands on massage to ensure an individual therapy package is delivered unique to your horse or pony. Please allow 1.5 to 2 hours for this.
A routine session 1 to 1.5 hours.
A pamper session 30 to 40 minutes.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A MASSAGE THERAPY SESSION?

Once assessments are complete and depending on the massage therapy service you require, I will start hands on massage using a variety of techniques to ease tension, soreness and create a relaxing experience for your equine. I will also if required use the massage tools to create the perfect compliment to the session.
If Pre-Event massage techniques to loose and warm the muscles are used to ensure your horse is competition ready and Post-Event is massage to provide a warm down, easing muscle soreness, stiffness and fatigue, removing toxins and cools after competition.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY HORSES MASSAGE THERAPY SESSIONS?

I will recommend and or apply stretching techniques specifically to your horses requirements. A written report will be sent to you either via email or post. I will also recommend exercises you can continue and advise on a treatment plan which would suit your equine.
Vets will be informed of the therapy session as required through rehabilitation and/or injury following the veterinary surgeons Act 1966.

DO I NEED VET PERMISSION?
